Saturday, 17th December 2022 was the date scheduled for Benola's 2022 Christmas Hangout for CP Parents which held as planned at Benola's Office complex at Ajah, Lagos.
In line with the focus of the Hangout which was for parents to have fun and relieve themselves of the stress from long stays at home caring for their children living with Cerebral Palsy, we had couples, mothers and fathers in attendance. Apart from welcome addresses by both Founders of the Initiative, there was room for Testimonies with the high point being that of the mother of a 40yr-old male. There was also dancing with Benola's Co-Founder, a dance competition and ample room for Networking.
Finally, cash gifts were awarded to parents who have been dedicated and diligent in attending Benola's weekly CP Thursday WhatsApp Chat and those who offered to serve as Volunteers at the Hangout.
At the end of the day, everyone got gift packs and they all showed appreciation. To the Glory of God, our kind Donors and the parents who turned up, the event was a huge success!
Once again, Compliments of the Season and together, let's keep working to change the face of Cerebral Palsy and Disability Management in Africa!
