It was fun at our colorful Alumni Hangout Dinner, which marked the end of our school year in style.
The well-attended event, which took place at the Best Western Hotel Plus in Ikeja, had the signature of what the Power UP stands for....Learning, and Achieving in an atmosphere of Fun.
Our Guest Speakers included:
1. AVM Femi Gbadebo (rtd} of BENOLA -a Cerebral Palsy Initiative, 2. Mrs. Crystal Chigbu of IREDE FONDATION - caring for children with artificial limbs needs and
3. Engr. Peter Bamkole of the EDC of Pan Atlantic University.
4. Mr. Rasheed Adegbenro, Snr. VP of CVL
They all gracefully shared with and enrolled us in their "Empathy, crazy Passion and ruthless Execution" attitude to living a life of Purpose and Meaning....a theme just appropriate for this Christmas season of loving and caring for the disadvantaged ones in the society.
It wasn't all eating, drinking and learning; we also re-lived our class sessions with Quizzes and Practices for achieving success. 'Getting It', a new way of connecting with and expanding your network.....that was fun, even for the uninitiated.
