Introducing Benola's Ambassador

This picture speaks volumes: Tuesday, 18th June 2019 - True to it's promise to provide ample networking opportunities for participants, I had the opportunity to introduce Benola's Ambassador living with Cerebral Palsy, Busola Claudia Akinsola aka @bussgon, who with a degree from Nigeria's leading private University, Babcock and 7years after obtaining a Masters Degree in International Trade from London Metropolitan University was yet to secure a job, to Pastor Ituah Ighodalo aka @pastorituahighodalo of @trinityhouseng and Chairman Theseabilities Foundation at the Disability Summit and Careers Fair brilliantly put together by Theseabilities, an NGO founded by the late Adeboye Abioye and hosted at Federal Palace Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos. His spontaneous response was simply, 'We will find her a job!' True to his word and barely 2 weeks later, on Monday, 1st July 2019, not only had @bussgon scaled an inept interview and a thorough medical examination, she started work as a bonafide staff at the Yaba Headquarters of Letshego, a major Micro Finance Bank.

So this morning my sincere appreciation goes to Busola's mum and siblings for their love and support, my dear friend late Boye Abioye for starting the Theseabilities Foundation, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo for his dogged belief in Persons Living with Disabilities (PWD's), the amazing Toye Abioye for taking the Theseabilities Vision to the Next Level and of course, @bussgon for her faith in God and unique ability to stay beautiful through it all.
