About Thursday, 11th July 2019, when a Meeting of Benola's Project Planning & Implementation Team (PPIT) and the first for the year was held in the office of the Provost, College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Idi-Araba, Lagos.
This Team has been responsible for the steady growth of Benola in the last 4 years and though we have a Whatsapp Group where we bounce off ideas and I regularly one-on-one voice or physical engagement with individuals as the need arises, physical meetings are where we get the best results, which is exactly what we achieved with our distinguished Chairman, Prof Afolabi Lesi, Provost, College of Medicine, who called the shots in his usual professional manner.
Issues deliberated upon included: 1) Plans for Benola's 7th National Cerebral Palsy Family Forum scheduled for Saturday, 10th August 2019; 2) Plans for World CP Day 2019; and 3) Collaboration with relevant departments of Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and other Stakeholders in the industry. Indeed, it was a fruitful meeting and it is safe to say we are well on our way to hosting arnother awesome CP Family Forum!
