1. The Lecture, 'The Nigerian Disability Act 2018: Implications for Persons with Developmental/Interlectual Disability' was brilliantly delivered by Anuoluwapo Eso, Managing Partner, AEC Legal, who turned down our token Honorarium and instead, made generous donation to Benola; and
2. The following individuals sent worthy representives, First Lady of Lagos State, The Head of Service, Lagos State and the Chief of Naval Staff;
3. Benola Ambassador, Uchenna Madueke, who came all the way from Jos, was her usual funny and inspirational self;
4. Two of our friends' Sign Language Experts, Tobi & Funmi, volunteered their service; and
5. In response to my Thank You message after getting the alert of his generous donation to Benola, sent the following message -
Sir, I must thank you for counting me worthy and giving me the rare opportunity to understand life better. I was moved to tears watching the video before we started and when you and Uche were speaking. God bless you. My regards to Madam!
