APPEAL FOR SUPPORT: Benola’s 9th National Cerebral Palsy Family Forum.

Dear Family and Friends, last year the Covid Lockdown prevented us from hosting our annual event where we offer free Medical Consultation, Counseling and Wheelchairs to CP Families from all over the country, but in order to provide succor to some of them who were hard hit by the economic realities and also teach the benefits of sharing their CP experience, we organised a successful Cash-drive. 

Since then and particularly in the past couple of months, we have been inundated by requests for assistance because, like everything else, the cost of managing a child with CP is giving parents serious concern. We also believe the time is not right to host hundreds of people. 

Therefore we plan to raise the sum of N5 Million only, to be disbursed in tranches of N20,000 each to 250 CP Families in leu of our 9th NationalFamily Forum and to eliminate the stress of coming to a central location and the additional financial hardship the families, disbursement will be via Bank Transfer on Monday, 16th August 2021 and Benefitiaries will be drawn from Benola’s CP Families and others within Nigeria, who are willing to share their CP Story with us.
