Walking is one of the easiest and most effective forms of exercise.
The health benefits of walking are extensive and backed by years of scientific research whichincludes weight loss, pain relief, improvement in quality of sleep and increased energy levels.In addition, it boosts immune systems and heart health, reduces stress and extends life expectancy.
With that in mind, we invite you to join in the 2024 Edition of ‘Stepping4CP’, a unique event in which you walk at your own pace, record your own distance covered and through the kind support of friends, help raise funds for Benola’s Cerebral Palsy Advocacy Campaign.
In addition, it can be conducted either alone or in small groups and at your own pace (a kilometer or more each day), between 1st and 30th September 2024, with the most important thing being that, youenjoy yourself, get moving and post your progress on Social Media Platforms using the hashtag: #stepping4cp.
To participate, simply sendyour picture and the words: '#STEPPING4CP + Distance (10km, 20km, or more),' to Benola's Admin via WhatsApp: +234 817 097 3349
Finally, please tag Instagram@benola_cpi as you share your progress and from 1st - 5thOctober 2024, each participant will receive a personalised Certificate of Completion.
